I’ve hit nearly 7 months now and the pregnancy was quite okay, with some rocky mood swings. But luckily never had morning sickness or nausea (only when I was too tired at 8pm). The tiredness only affected my appetite and I craved carby, cheesy and salty food. Not really helping to keep the baby kilos under control. As a veggie it was hard to get my vitamins and Iron under control. Also fruits, especially pineapple was a knock-out! In the second trimester everything started to get back to normal and I started drinking smoothies in the morning. Here are my top 3 Smoothies (and yes with Snapchat filters, because it’s more fun):
#1: Morning Mango
- 1 cup: 1 Frozen Mango Cubes
- Banana
- 1 cup: Oat Milk
- 1 cup: Water
- 20g Coconut flakes
- 30g Oats
#2: Green Giant
- 80 g Baby spinach
- 1 cup frozen mango cube
- 1 banana
- 4 dates
- 100ml oat milk
- 100ml water
- 1 spoon coconut oil
#3: Moulin Rouge
- 1 cup raspberries
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 banana
- 100ml almond milk
- 100ml water
